The total construction area of the Shenyang International Horticultural Expo Aquarium is 31500 square meters. The design began in June 2005, construction began in August, and the building was topped out in November of that year, creating a miracle of speed in the history of large-scale aquarium construction in China. However, due to the tight deadline required by the client to complete the entire project before the opening of the World Horticultural Expo, the construction of the project was a bit rough. We were responsible for the architectural design, which took over three months from proposal, expansion to construction drawings. Unfortunately, due to the lack of construction time, the internal display landscape of the building was not strictly implemented according to our original design, which resulted in the failure to implement the essence of our project design. We deeply regret this.
